This house had lots of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy one another. Yard is beautiful as well as the home. Really enjoyed the shuffle board and pool table. Hosts were easy to communicate with.

We celebrated our family Christmas at this beautiful home and it was amazing! The tree was already set up and there were so many places for people to be the whole family felt at home. The basement had a pool table and shuffleboard and was the perfect place for us all to hang out and have a little fun. Thank you so much for the great place and for all the great communication! We loved it.

I absolutely love this place! We will definitely be going back! They were very kind and thoughtful left us a gift because we had a death in the family. I can’t say enough how wonderful this place is. It is very clean and decorated so nice and the gaming entertainment area was perfect for my family. They also had tons of sleeping areas that were very private and comfortable. Would highly recommend this to anybody with a large group.

A great place to bring family together. Plenty of room, kids loved it. Great space for games, catching up, watching Big Ten Basketball. On Wisconsin!!

We went in as a group and enjoyed the stay very well. Hosts are very cooperative and always responsive for any queries. Would certainly recommend to friends and families visiting door county in future.

This is the perfect place for a large group. A wonderful homebase and walkable to the main area of Sister bay. The multiple common spaces were ideal, and the kitchen could hold and sit all 10 adults plus 2 babies. Everything was clean, and the hosts were very proactive and communicative. They helped us check in a bit early so the babies could nap, which I appreciated. There are plenty of dishes, flatware, cups, etc. A lovely space.

Starkhaus was absolutely beautiful. It exceeded all expectations. Six women went on a three night girls trip and when we saw Starkhaus online, we knew that’s where we wanted to stay. We’ve been to Door County several times and this, by far is the nicest house we’ve stayed at. The owers were available for anything we needed or questions that we had. The house is gorgeous and the surroundings are magnificent. Do yourself a favor and book a vacation at Starkhaus. We can’t wait to go back.

The house is beautiful, clean, quiet and in a great location. There are a lot of amenities in the house, so our group spent quite a bit of time hanging out there. When we did go out, we were within minutes of restaurants and shopping. We had a large group and this house had more than enough beds and bathrooms.

Great place for a large group! Plenty of beds and rooms to host a big group comfortably. Also, more than a few spaces both indoors and outdoors for a big group to gather. Hosts are really nice and accommodating. About a 20-minute walk to the center of Sister Bay’s downtown where there is a lot to do for all ages. Great combination of peaceful getaway while being walkable to entertainment/restaurants.

Mitch & Katie were wonderful hosts! They were responsive, understanding, and helpful – a Starkhaus phone app made all the information clear and accessible. The home itself was spacious & clean, perfect for our group! We spent most of our time enjoying the games downstairs and around the bonfire. Proximity to Sister Bay was amazing as well – we walked to town multiple times to enjoy drinks and a bite, less than 15mins each way. Highly recommend the Starkhaus!
